M104 - Sombrero galaxy
This galaxy has a special place in me and Leifs hearts I think. First off, it's one of our favourite galaxy. Second, it's very low on the horizon very late in the night from Sweden. Not a good combination. When we started doing astronomy this was one of the galaxies that we looked visually at during the night (probably very late as well). We have always been talking about photographing it, but never been given a good chance to do so. This night we waited up lately and took the chance. Not the best picture in the world maybe, but it still clearly shows the galaxy which is kind of cool! Click here for more information about this night.
