Amateur astronomy can be pretty cheap if you want to stay with only watching the sky. You can get a decent dobsonian telescope for not too much. However, to that you want some decent eyepieces, and cost immidietly rises. And things get even worse when you want motor drive capability, so you can do astrophotography thru the telescope. At this page I have written some small comments on everything I currently have. To that I have added pictures to most of the objects.
