November night balcony #1
What a great night this was! This was the second night I had a great opportunity to take pictures from my balcony. The setup was very simple. A regular photo tripod and a Canon 350D. The camera was set up to take a 30 second long exposure. A 30 second long dark was taken to subtract out the noise. It's amazing how good pictures that can be taken from the center of a moderately large city! There were only a few of these stars that were actually visible with the naked eye! Now given this I'm feeling hungry to buy the astrotrac to be able to take longer exposures!
