NGC891

NGC891
NGC891

Quote This would prove to be my toughest target as of yet. For first, the winds were blowing very hard so the telescope was almost constantly shaking. When looking for NGC891 in the eyepiece I could not see it, pretty dissapointing as I've always wanted to see this galaxy. When I inserted the DSI, I could still not see it even though I had set the live-view exposure for 2 seconds! I was just sure that the galaxy was there. I took a 15 second preview exposure, and there it was! It was a nice feel to "see" the galaxy for the first time. In every subexposure it was almost impossible to see the galaxy, but this large amount of stacks made it turned out pretty well anyway. Quote
