Quote What a great night this was! This was the second night I had a great opportunity to take pictures from my balcony. The setup was very simple. A regular photo tripod and a Canon 350D. The camera was set up to take a 30 second long exposure. A 30 second long dark was taken to subtract out the noise. It's amazing how good pictures that can be taken from the center of a moderately large city! There were only a few of these stars that were actually visible with the naked eye! Now given this I'm feeling hungry to buy the astrotrac to be able to take longer exposures!

Other pictures I took this night: pic1 / pic2 / pic3 / pic4 Quote
