Quote I accidently happened to find a good guide that basically tells how the best way is to do astrophotography with a digital SLR. As I happen to have one of the cameras that the guide goes thru I was curious to test this. What I did was to take a simple 30 second exposure from my balcony (I live in the center of a town with 150.000 inhibitants). After the exposure I took a dark frame and subtracted it from the original exposure. I did not have any high expectations on the picture but I think it turned out very well considering that there were VERY few of these stars that were actually visible by the naked eye! Quote
