Quote It's almost been a full year since we were out on Ekerö doing astrophotography. Mostly bad weather had stopped us for a long time, but finally we got some nice weather. This time we were out for two nights in a row trying to catch up! The first night the sky was very clear and crisp, while the second night was pretty bad. But when you have not had any astronomy for almost a year, even a bad sky will do! :)

For a video from these two nights click here.

FactsA nebula is an interstellar cloud of dust, hydrogen, helium and ionized gases. Nebulae are often star-forming regions, in where the formations of gas, dust and other materials clump together to form larger masses, which attract further matter, and eventually will become massive enough to form stars. The remaining materials are then believed to form planets, and other planetary system objects.Factssource and more information wikipedia
